Built by Giacalone Shipyard of Mazara del Vallo (TP) at the shipyard in Peschiera del Garda and inaugurated on July 29, 2024.
“Ander” is a jewel of advanced technology: it is equipped with hybrid propulsion, a sophisticated system that allows for docking maneuvers, passenger boarding and disembarking operations, and departure from the dock in full-electric mode, thus avoiding the emission of pollutants and noise into the atmosphere. The hull has been designed to minimize wave generation, and an in-depth study on onboard comfort has allowed for the reduction of vibration and noise to a minimum. It is also equipped with racks at the bow for loading bicycles and dedicated sockets for charging e-bikes.
“Ander” is part of a path undertaken by the Governmental Management of the Lakes aimed at promoting integrated and sustainable mobility.

The fleet of Gestione Governativa Navigazione Laghi, when not used in the scheduled public service, is available for any transfer or private rental services; on board it is possible to organize events, congresses or ceremonies, agreeing upon the travel itinerary as well as the type of set-up or requested service.
On Lake Garda, the boats in service have in fact a capacity that varies from 85 up to 1000 passengers and a price starting from 1745 € + 10% VAT, taking as an example the use of a ship like the ones of the category S. Martino and Mantova, available for 4 hours of navigation.
