Until October 4, 2026, every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and on public holidays, you can take a day trip to the cities of Ascona or Locarno, a journey that will cover the entire lake, taking in the most interesting towns in the entire Lake Maggiore basin, both in Italy and Switzerland.

The itinerary begins in the morning leaving by boat from your chosen pier on Lake Maggiore (Arona (10:00 am), Angera (10:05 am), Stresa (11:00 am), Intra (11:50 am), or Laveno (11:00 am with a ferry and connection in Intra) to reach Locarno in the Canton of Ticino.

Arriving in Locarno at 2:25 PM, you’ll have approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to explore Locarno until departing at 4:00 PM for the return journey to your original destination.

You will need a valid identity document for travel outside of Europe.

During the boat trip, you can admire from aboard the ship the numerous tourist attractions that make Verbano a charming destination rich in culture and beauty: among these, the Rocca di Angera*, the Hermitage of Santa Caterina*, the Borromean Islands (Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori, and Isola Madre), as well as the Cannero Castles and the Brissago Islands.

Lunch on board:

Lunch is available on board during the cruise; the tourist menu includes:

• Two first courses;
• A choice of meat or fish main course with side dishes;
• Dessert

for €20 per adult, including a half-liter bottle of water, payable directly to the restaurant owner on board.

For younger guests (up to 11 years old) there is a junior menu at the special price of €11, which includes pasta with tomato sauce, a main course of chicken with potatoes, and a drink of your choice.

Coffee and wine (red or white) are not included and are available at €1.50/coffee, €6.00/1/2 liter of wine, and €10.00/liter of wine.

Those wishing to dine on board at the restaurant must notify the onboard restaurant staff promptly upon boarding to check availability.

Travel tickets can be purchased directly on the day of departure exclusively at the ticket office at the port of departure from which you choose to leave (Arona, Angera, Stresa, Intra, or Laveno), being sure to arrive for boarding 15 minutes in advance.

Tickets cost €38.00 for adults and €19.00 for children (ages 4 to 11) for departures from Arona and Angera.

Discounts are available for groups of more than 15 paying guests.
