Until October 4th, the Borromean Islands can be reached by “Navigazione Lago Maggiore” boats leaving from Baveno

From here, you can begin to admire the Borromean Islands. The first stop is Isola Madre, to visit the 16th-century Palazzo nestled in a spectacular botanical garden, renowned for its blooms of exotic flowers and rare plants, home to unique animal species from around the world, including Brazil, New Zealand, and Bolivia. From Isola Madre, you can then take one of the many boats in transit and, in just 20 minutes, reach Isola dei Pescatori (Isola Superiore), where you can have lunch in one of the many traditional restaurants and visit the charming village. Finally, after lunch, the itinerary includes a stop at Isola Bella, for an (optional) visit to the Baroque-style palace and the splendid Italian garden, as well as the small village.

HAPPY FAMILY PROMOTION: For family groups of at least two adults, with the purchase of two full-fare daily free-ride tickets [Fee 3.00], up to two children (aged 4 to 11) can travel free. The family group must travel together. This offer is valid on all scheduled vessels in the Italian Lake Maggiore basin only.

Exclusions: This offer is not valid on special trips or night cruises, or on vehicle and luggage transport, and cannot be combined with other promotional offers and/or price reductions.

GROUP FARES for groups of at least 15 paying people

Price of the return ticket for the Baveno-Borromeo Islands route is €14.40/adult and €9.00/children aged 4-11.

To benefit from the group rate, all members must travel on the same routes and boats.

One free ticket is granted for every 25 paying passengers.

Tickets do not include admission to the palaces and gardens.

The Municipality of Stresa has introduced a landing tax of €0.50 per island and per traveler over 6 years of age. This tax must be paid exclusively at the ticket office at the departure port, based on the type of ticket that has been purchased.
