Motonave Ibrida Diesel/Elettrica “Topazio”

Built among 2020 and 2021 by the Cartubi Shipyard in Trieste, the Topazio (named as a precious stone) is a hybrid passenger motor ship which uses the power of diesel generators, the energy of the batteries as well as the efficiency of the electric motors of propulsion.

Around 30 meters long and just over seven meters wide, it has a maximum speed of twelve knots.

The ship can seat 200 passengers who travel in the utmost comfort thanks to an air conditioning system designed for use at the sea, a music system covering the whole ship and two monitors on which multimedia information can be displayed.
