The ideal solution for tourists is to purchase a Roaming Day Pass, which gives you the right to travel on all ferries operating within the area chosen.

On the Italian side, one of the most interesting areas is the Borromeo Gulf.
Between Stresa, the Borromeo Islands and Pallanza there are frequent connections, approximately one every half-hour (in the spring/summer period). In these places you can stay for half an hour, one hour, an hour and a half, etc. and then continue with the next ferry.
From the towns in the southern part of the lake (Arona, Angera, etc.) and the northern part (Cannobio, Cannero, Luino, etc.), the Borromeo Gulf is easy to reach. From Laveno there are connections every twenty minutes for Intra and from there every hour ferries leave for the mid-lake towns.

In Italian waters, from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) all passengers aged 65 years and over are entitled to a reduction on the daily rate of a one-way, round-trip ticket without intermediate stops and roaming ticket.
In Swiss waters this reduction applies to roaming tickets.
In all cases, to be eligible for OAP reductions an identity document indicating the passenger’s age must be produced.

38) Are dogs allowed on board?
Yes, it is possible to take dogs or other pets onboard, following the conditions here under: dogs can be boarded under the responsibility of their owners or holders.

The Captain, or one of his officer composing the crew, can ask to the owner or holder to muzzle the dog in case of safety risks for other passengers, animals or objects.
In case the owner or holder declares not to be able to comply with this order, he has to be unboarded at the first available dock without any right to be reimbursed.
