YEAR 2012 – SPECIAL SERVICE CHARGES (charters) in force

The rates are subject to changes that may be made by the Ministero delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti.
Prices given in €, the total price of the service must be supplemented by the required value added tax equal to 10%
Fares:
Fare column (A): The charge reported in column (A) refers to the cost of chartering the corresponding vessel (except for CATAMARAN) available for a total of 8 (eight) hours of service, including a maximum of 4 (four) hours sailing, i.e. cruises that involve an itinerary of no more than 80 Km (eighty) with at least 2 (two) hours in which the boat is moored.
(**) The amount shown in column (A) for the CATAMARAN refers to the cost for chartering said type of vessel for a total of 8 (eight) hours of service with a maximum of 2 (two) hours sailing.
Fare column (B): The column (B) indicates in Euros the increases that apply for each hour or fraction of an hour, should the vessel be used beyond the following limits:
1) boat occupied for more than the eight hours provided for;
2) boat sails for more than the four hours provided four (excluding Catamaran)
3) boat used between 10pm and 5am (night-time service).
4) Catamaran sails for more than the two hours provided for.
For required off-peak season services, the fare of the special service can be increased of the hand-labour costs which are necessary for the preparation and arrangement of the ship.
Length of service:
* Beginning of the service means the time the boat leaves the port where it is moored.
* End of service means the time the boat returns to the port where it departed from.
* Boats usually depart from the port at COMO.
* Any time used running empty are calculated as service hours to all intents and purposes.
Discounts:
* Discount of the amount shown in column (B) on Monday to Friday working days, excluding the months of June, July, August and September.
* Except for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, the months of June, July, August and September and catamarans, a discount of double the amount indicated in column (B) will be apply to services that involve up to five hours of use of the vessel with a maximum of two hours of sailing.
Booking and payment:
* the Operations Office must be contacted for the determining of the date and programme and a date will be set for the option, at the expiration of which the service can be confirmed.
* the booking of special charter services is confirmed with the signing of the contract and the receipt of an advance payment corresponding to 30% of the agreed amount (which may be rounded up to 100,00 Euro for operational convenience), to be made by the date stated in the contract.
* the balance must be paid 7 working days before the date of the rental service; subsequently the receipted invoice shall be sent after payment.
* a failure to pay the balance in the established term will result in the cancellation of the contract and management will keep any sums paid.
* Lake Como Navigazione Operations Office reserves the right to ask for the bail bond that will be given back in the next days of the service, once it's ensured the absence of any damage to the structures on board and to the ship itself.
Capacity of vessel:
* The boat’s capacity must not be exceeded for any reason.
* The Operations Office reserves the right to reduce the maximum capacity according to the specific uses of the boat and type of service requested.
Catering/bar on board:
* As for catering and bar services on board, arrangements must be made directly with the firm Camst Soc. Coop. a.r.l. , which has exclusive management of these services on board of our vessels: Office Phone. 031/587611 Fax 031/587621 eugenia.mametti@camst.it
OTHER CLAUSES:
* Lake Como Navigazione Operations Office reserves the right to replace, due to force majeure, the type of vessel booked with another vessel of equal or higher class.
* In the case of strikes on the part of staff or for other reasons of force majeure making it impossible to fully carry out the service, the amount paid shall be refunded.
* Should damages to the vessel be discovered at the end of the service, any necessary repairs and replacements will be charged to the contracting party. Any extra cleaning will also be charged to the contracting party.
* In the case of services which require specific outfitting of the vessel, the Operations Office reserves the right to add on extra costs for preparation and dismantling.
* Use of vessels: Their use is limited to the purposes for which they are made available, i.e. transportation. As the boat is a public place, behaviour on-board must not exceed the limits of public safety and civil coexistence.
* The captain of the boat is responsible for carrying out the service in full compliance with the navigation code.
* The following are forbidden on board: sale of products, display of banners, flags, various kinds of decorations, changes to the structure of the vessel without authorisation from the Operations Office.
* Orchestral performances and any kind of entertainment are the full responsibility of the Lessee, both regarding remuneration and the social security, health and tax contributions required by current laws, as well as any authorisations needed for shows held on the pier while the vessel is not sailing.
